System Analyst / Developer [Finland]


 

Our team in Lappeenranta is searching for a new System Analyst with coding capabilities to help in interesting and meaningful financial sector customer projects. In this position as coding skilled System Analyst, you will be responsible for actual software development utilizing our tools and techniques, creating functional definitions for our development team, optionally working on customer interface to collect and refine customer requirements, and in parallel with software development you will also participate in test case creation and actual testing. So, you will participate in wide scale of agile software development tasks, and you can flexibly adapt new tasks and responsibilities based on project phase and your workload. You will work comfortably with modern tools, either by combining both remote work and office work, or by utilizing our functional, cozy office.

You will work as part of self-organized team, which is compound with genuine desire to help the customer and develop its own knowledge and skills. As a member of the team, you are also included in the professional and supporting working community and you will participate in common activities and events, and where both team goals and your personal goals will be agreed on and later followed up. Projects and customers might change over time, but solid basis of your work community will remain and provide you a safe and secure working environment. And more concretely you can see your handprint when a new functional release has been published after an agile sprint – always a great moment. During the sprint your role might be either functional definer or software developer.

To success in your work, we require that you have:

  • Suitable education for ICT business
  • Knowledge and practical experience on following techniques: .NET Core, React, Python, SQL
  • Solution-oriented mindset and ability and will to learn new skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Some level of Finnish and willingness to learn more
  • Good communication and team working skills
  • Practical experience on software definition tasks, ability to embrace large entities and produce clear and understandable definitions of them for software implementation

We also appreciate:

  • Experience in Cypress test automation tool
  • Knowledge or experience in following tools: Microsoft stack development tools, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, .NET Core Web Application, C#, JQuery, GitLab, RoundHousE, Microsoft Transact-SQL, SSRS
