Job title: Regional Accounting Lead
D24 is a payment processing company whose goal is to supply payment solutions in LATAM, APAC & EMEA. We enable companies from all over the world to sell their products and/or services online to end consumers who wish to pay with local payment methods.
We act as a payment service provider for multinational companies targeting customers in Latin America and other emerging markets.
We are looking for a self-motivated Regional Accounting Lead to join our multinational team. The main objective is to add value to our Finance team. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and has excellent communication skills.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare monthly consolidation financial reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and currency exposure.Analyze variations in income, expenses, and equity balances against monthly reports and financial projections.
Define and manage the annual accounting closure plan and schedule, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Establish accounting allocations and process flows to maintain data integrity and consistency across records.
Provide accounting support during new business implementations, ensuring accurate financial transaction integration.
Actively participate in management system implementations and development of improvements to the current accounting system.
Identify process and accounting control enhancement opportunities, proposing efficient solutions.
Manage internal and external audit processes, facilitating auditor collaboration and required documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, financial analysis, and report preparation.
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.
- Exceptional time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently analyze data.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Experience with ERP Netsuite.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Portuguese language skills (a plus).
- Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Leadership experience – 3 years of leadership roles.
