Position Overview:

As a Service Operations Leader, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the success of our customer group within your assigned territory. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to deliver outstanding service while driving contract renewals and growth across all service modes. Your primary focus will be on strategic workforce planning, coordination, and ensuring adherence to global service methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement
  • Dive deep into our customers' needs and unearth growth opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with key contacts in customer accounts.
  • Become the go-to person for addressing customer concerns and providing support.

Renewal & Growth

  • Identify solutions to offer customers based on their unique needs.
  • Drive contract renewals and support the development of new accounts.
  • Identify and communicate cross-opportunity synergies.
  • Operational Support
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Utilize tools for coordinating service execution.
  • Ensure financial health and invoicing accuracy.
  • Manage customer satisfaction through Net Promoter Score.
  • Work Force Planning
  • Schedule resources effectively.
  • Manage leave and coverage.
  • Ensure workforce optimization through SIOP labor planning.
  • Develop a flexible labor resource pipeline.
  • Training and Development
  • Maintain and manage skills and certification records.
  • Drive training plans for your team.
  • Provide feedback to support employee development.

Principal Networks & Contact Links

You will collaborate with internal teams such as Regional Service Operations Managers, Field Service Specialists, Contract Renewal Specialists, Customer Account Managers, and more. Externally, you will engage with customers at various organizational levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Through your influential leadership, you will assign work schedules and prioritize activities for your team.

Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

This role is local territory-based, with travel within the territory to meet customers, accounting for more than 25% of your responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Education: Recognized Industrial Automation & Control technical training.
  • Work Experience: 10 years in process automation industry and 5 years supporting a Services organization.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of Honeywell HPS solutions and strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Behavioral Competencies: Influential, effective communicator, adept at managing in a matrixed organization, and capable of multitasking.
  • Language Requirements: Fluent in Norwegian and fluency in English.
