Responsibilities
:

  • Monitor security logs and alerts to promptly detect and investigate any unusual or suspicious activity on the company's networks and IT systems.
  • Manage security incidents in real time, coordinating response efforts to mitigate potential threats and minimize impact.
  • Conduct regular security checks on IT systems to ensure compliance with the company's established security policies and standards.
  • Coordinate and lead security incident response teams during security breaches or compromises, ensuring effective containment and resolution.
  • Perform comprehensive security risk assessments on IT systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities within IT systems and applications and provide recommendations for remediation to enhance overall security posture.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments on new IT systems and applications prior to their deployment, ensuring adherence to security requirements.
  • Stay up to date with evolving security threats and trends, and contribute to the revision and enhancement of security policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Educate employees on IT security best practices and ensure compliance with corporate security policies through training and awareness programs.
  • Execute regular security audits to assess the implementation and effectiveness of security policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Review and assess the efficiency of existing security controls, making adjustments as necessary to maintain an optimal level of protection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and enhance business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate new security tools and technologies, making recommendations for their implementation to enhance overall security infrastructure.

What profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT security practices, including risk management, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and security compliance.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and IT infrastructure components.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to educate and raise security awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
