Responsibilities:
- Monitor security logs and alerts to promptly detect and investigate any unusual or suspicious activity on the company's networks and IT systems.
- Manage security incidents in real time, coordinating response efforts to mitigate potential threats and minimize impact.
- Conduct regular security checks on IT systems to ensure compliance with the company's established security policies and standards.
- Coordinate and lead security incident response teams during security breaches or compromises, ensuring effective containment and resolution.
- Perform comprehensive security risk assessments on IT systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
- Analyze vulnerabilities within IT systems and applications and provide recommendations for remediation to enhance overall security posture.
- Conduct thorough security assessments on new IT systems and applications prior to their deployment, ensuring adherence to security requirements.
- Stay up to date with evolving security threats and trends, and contribute to the revision and enhancement of security policies and procedures accordingly.
- Educate employees on IT security best practices and ensure compliance with corporate security policies through training and awareness programs.
- Execute regular security audits to assess the implementation and effectiveness of security policies and procedures across the organization.
- Review and assess the efficiency of existing security controls, making adjustments as necessary to maintain an optimal level of protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and enhance business continuity plans and disaster recovery strategies to ensure their relevance and effectiveness.
- Evaluate new security tools and technologies, making recommendations for their implementation to enhance overall security infrastructure.
What profile are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
- Proven experience in IT security practices, including risk management, incident response, vulnerability assessment, and security compliance.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and IT infrastructure components.
- Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to educate and raise security awareness.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
